Natasha, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was a customer of a major corporate medspa receiving weight loss treatments for Non Invasive Laser Lipo. After seeing results that worked I became interested in the business aspect knowing that I could stand behind my brand because of the results I had myself. Did my research and decided to invest my last dollar into starting my own small medspa where Houstonians could receive the same services but at a much more affordable price. I wanted to touch peoples lives on a personal level by assisting in helping them gain confidence and restore their self worth.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a mother of two small children the most difficult obstacle was dealing with the fact that when deciding to become an entrepreneur you lose the security and safety net of having a guaranteed steady income in life like I had always had before when working a professional 9-5 job. The uncertainty of your financial status can be super stressful, especially for a parent. You experience issues randomly often as a business owner, things break and need to be replaced or repaired. Technical issues will arise. Things will happen, you just can’t allow it to cause you to give up,

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Proudest moment is each time a client brags to us about how their weight loss and other treatments has been a game changer for them and their life. Those moments when a person who has let themself go and just hasn’t felt the best about who they are as a person lately; they gain that confidence and the ability to tap into their own self worth.
