Meet Nicole Chevalier of Bobbitt Glass Company in Midtown and Montrose

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Chevalier.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Nicole. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
The company was founded by Allie Bobbitt in 1938 and passed on through three families. Each of which inherited the company after years of dedicated service and the passing of the previous owner. Bobbitt’s main focus has always been to serve the people of Houston. We have remained successful and in business throughout the years without the need for advertisement due to word-of-mouth and our focus on customer satisfaction. We remain successful for two reasons. First to the way we treat each and every customer like family. Secondly, due to the support from Houston’s finest interior designers and contractors throughout our many years of service. Every piece of glass we sell is custom made for each customer with care. We do both commercial and residential work. We specialize in but are not limited to custom created antique style mirrors and frameless shower enclosures. If it’s glass, we can do it. No job is too little or too big

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It is mainly been a smooth road even during the trying times of Houston’s economy due to our continued business with the trade

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Bobbitt Glass Company – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We specialize in working hand-in-hand with Houston’s finest interior designers and contractors in upgrading Houston’s homes with our custom created antique mirrors and custom frameless shower enclosure’s. We are proud to be the long-time vendor for Houston’s finest hospitals, universities, schools, and the city of Houston. We are also extremely proud of the fact that our antique mirrors have been shipped worldwide. We have created our antique mirrors for people such as Hugh Hefner, Kevin Costner, and the Coco Chanel foundation and many many more. What sets us apart from most companies is that we treat every customer with respect whether they are redoing their entire home or buying a small piece of glass for a picture frame. Every customer matters. We are not there for a paycheck we are there for our lifetime and to ensure the next generation has a Bobbitt Glass to continue.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We are looking forward to expanding and growing with the needs of Houston. Our near future plans are to expand into the wholesale business as well as offering designing and contractor services without ever under cutting our current designers and contractors as they are the backbone of our company’s success.
