Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Joe.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Ever since I could remember, I’ve always had my hands on creating something. Particularly, I was introduced to graphic design when I was in middle school back when MySpace was the in thing for social media. My friend made her Myspace profile picture a GIF and I couldn’t help but ask her how she did that. She introduced me to a design software and the rest was history.
I learned how to make the GIF, then, I kept wanting to learn more. I would google tutorials on all different aspects of graphic design. The learning kept going and is still going to today to what I do now. I am completely self-taught in my field and now I just have the passion to help innovative entrepreneurs and businesses create brands and memorable experiences that attract happy customers.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
NO! It has not been a smooth road. Entrepreneurship is harder than it looks. It is not as easy as they make it look on social media. On social media, they make it seem like being your own boss is as easy as working in your pajamas and setting your own schedule.
That is one thing I want to let aspiring entrepreneurs know. Yes, you do get the luxury of working in your PJ’s and not going into someone’s office every day, but at the end of the day, your clients essentially become your boss. If you aren’t making good impressions on your clients, then how do you expect your business to survive?
Nonetheless, for me, one thing I struggle with is the anxiety of obtaining success faster than what God has planned for me. I know everything that is good comes from God. Constantly remembering that my success will come in God’s time is something that I constantly struggle with.
Social media makes it harder because what you see on people’s profiles are the final product and not the journey they went through to get to that post on the gram. I know that faith without works is dead, so as long as I keep working and remaining grounded in God, I know that he will come through in his time!

I am a visual and brand developer. I help create and maintain brands to help them attract their ideal customer. I specialize in laying the foundation for your visual presentation to the world and your target audience. I help my clients obtain a brand that they are proud to show off because it’s well put together and clearly communicates their message to where people become impressed.
In addition to branding entrepreneurs and companies, I also brand events. I help celebrants and event planners create memorable visual experiences that they’ll love for their special occasion.
