Meet RoseMary Tucker of Blessties Christian Apparel in Cypress

Today we’d like to introduce you to RoseMary Tucker.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve always looked at ways to glorify God, and when he finds a way to bring me out of a storm, that’s when the sunshine comes. Storms & Sunshine Anointed Apparel & Accessories, LLC. is not just a name of a business it’s a promised to God.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road but it makes you strong. My lowest point was when my daughter, DyAnna Denae got sick. DyAnna experience excruciating headaches while trying to remain committed to her university studies. You push through because you believe in yourself. The doctors told us in December 2018, DyAnna had a marble sized cyst growing in the center of her brain and in January 2019, we found out she was going to need surgery. It was one of the worst days of my life.

Please tell us about Blessties Christian Apparel.
We have been creating custom designs for tees and merchandise with profound statements in Cypress, TX for over five years. Blessties Christian Apparel is a brand that believes in printing with a purpose. Our clothing is affordable. We have something for all ages. What sets us apart from others is our multiple brands (Swolle, IamBullied, Classy Christian, IamHealed, DyAnna Denae, Blessties Beautiful Woman and Blesstees) within Blessties and our initiative to pay it forward in the community. We now have a 501c3 for Hoodies 4 Healing, known for our ‘I Am Healed’ statement that has been trending across the city because of the awesomeness support being DyAnna Denae. I told Deborah Duncan on KHOU 11-Great Day Houston a few months ago that our goal was to pay it forward after a successful surgery.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I wouldn’t make so many mistakes and take more time to make decisions. When you are excited about opportunities and certain aspects of your life, sometimes you can make abrupt choices. You have to be patient. I’ve learned to include Jesus in all of what I do day-to-day.
