Houston-native singer-songwriter, Just Touch has carved out his own niche in the music world thanks to his blending sounds of R&B, and soul. Just Touch started racking up hits with headline singles such as Wave, Sweet Kisses and Bipolar on his debut album Waves in which his sly, explicitly impressive styles of contemporary R&B are on full display.
Just Touch an all-around entertainer, singer, songwriter, and producer has taken his authentic musical talents to a new level. His music arrangement compositions define the perfect combination of rhythm and blues stimulated by unique vocal harmonies. The electrifying ballads of Bipolar, the dynamic feel of Wave and the booming beat of Sweet kisses combined with potent lyrics give the entire album a magnetizing feel.
Just Touch is a revolutionary artist emerging into the national spotlight. His musical career goals are taking satisfaction as a singer to embrace the cultural changes of R&B as well as incorporating his own contemporary pop styles.
Born on February 29th, given name Shaimon Jaquia Lee, this American R&B vocalist is known for his artistic verses. Just Touch has captured his audience throughout his singing career, from the majestic sounds in church choirs to the enriched harmonies in the hallways of Westfield High School. Just Touch utilized his influences such as his father, Jay-Z and Sam Cook to create a musical environment in which he strives to improve.
Once he reached adulthood, he emerged himself in the music industry by conceptualizing a new era of pop and R&B styles. Artist and groups such as Ty Dollor Sign, Bruno Mars, Rico Love, and The Dream ignited his interest in music. His new flavors of sound generate from classic styles, provocative melodies, and his eloquent vocal abilities. Just Touch, an independent artist is rejuvenating a new culture of R&B and contemporary pop.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My journey as an artist has been really tough. Because being a single dad with two son’s trying to show them, you can achieve your dreams no matter what obstacle stands in your way. And believe me, there has been a lot of them.
Like for example, everything I have accomplished in this music business so far has been mostly on me. Financially and also I’ve had to motivate myself to keep going because this is what I want to do. Most people won’t support you until they see you moving and doing things to make your dreams become goals.

What sets me apart from other artist is my work ethic. I mean I have two kids I’m raising on my own so. I want to so them if you want something you go after it by working hard at it perfect your craft. I’m also a songwriter for myself and other artists.
I love telling stories and putting it to melodies and rhythms. Its so amazing how not just me put other artist and musicians can create things out of nothing and turn it into something amazing
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I do not think I’m there yet. Successful I mean. I strive to be the best and I just pray one day my music will show how hard I work to be successful.
