Today we’d like to introduce you to Tim McKee, Bryce Stark.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tim, Bryce. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’ve been in the construction industry for over 26-years. I currently own a commercial HVAC company called McKee A/C & Heating. I started this pool company for my 18-year old to have after he completes his BA in Construction Management. Along the lines of starting Just Pools, I was looking for a sharp open minded project manager/designer. With no luck, I remembered I had a close friend that has a 22-year old son that had recently graduated From Louisiana Tech from a baseball scholarship. So, I decided to pick up the phone and ask Bryce if he would like to learn the pool industry, and make some really good money along the way. As it worked out, he loves the industry as well as self-taught himself how to design a really nice pool. It’s a lot of work starting out and making a business successful. My HVAC company has even on cruise control for over 15-years. I’m not used to working 7-days a week, however, whatever it takes? I will be the best pool builder in Cypress.
Has it been a smooth road?
Very smooth road. Being in business for so many years, it has been an advantage to starting out from the ground floor.
