Meet Tina Fox of Ms USS America Pageant in The Woodlands

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Fox.

Tina Fox, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
The United Southern States Pageant System was founded in 2009. As the founder, I had competed in many pageants throughout my life, large & small. I was completely fascinated by the incredible women that I met from across the USA. These women were truly remarkable and making a difference in their community.

Volunteering their time and bringing the spotlight to charities in need. I wanted my pageant system to be a little different so my new journey began. We crown multiple women in one evening, awarding many titles for their accomplishments

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. However, I believe in what I do and giving these women an outlet to make a difference. Unfortunately, there is a lot of controversy regarding pageants. Most believe it’s all about external beauty. It’s truly not. Receiving support can be a challenge, however I find that people are still fascinated by what these women accomplish.

Please tell us about Ms USS America Pageant.
The United Southern States America Pageant (USS America) is celebrating its 8th year enriching the lives of women and has advanced onto a National system open to all 50 US states. Our pageant weekend is fun where friendship is encouraged. Much like a sorority, you will be empowered and awarded for your accomplishments. We make the pageant day less stressful with No Swimsuit or Talent competition.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If there is anything I would have done differently since the start of my organization, I would have awarded all the contestants crowns. Now we do! All the ladies who compete leave the stage with a beautiful crystal crown to wear.
