Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Moses-Randolph.
Tina, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started out with the company April 2017, I initially started with being a hair extentions Distributor and wig maker, which I still do as well. I’ve been doing hair as a hobby for over 25 years. It’s something that I had that I could always turn to for fulfillment, joy, helping women feel and look beautiful is rewarding and of course being paid for your talent is definitely a key factor. So, I incorporated my hobbies became accustom for being my own boss. I came up with a name for my business that didn’t put me in a box. I didn’t want the label of only a “Hair Distributor or “Wig maker” . Although nothing is wrong with those titles, I have all sorts of passions, I just love to create and didn’t want to be tied to just one thing. So as time went on I wanted to share another passion of mine, my love for sunglasses. I added sunglasses to my business and became a Fashion Eyewear Provider. I sell locally and ship through out the U.S. In selling the glasses I noticed that there was another avenue to create my finishing touches on the eyewear. So I created custom wear sunglasses/ handmade embellishments added to the eyewear. Created an Etsy shop and now I’m a Provider for custom sunglasses which I love.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being an entrepreneur it’s not always easy. Late nights, sleepless nights and sacrifices are made when your goal is to aim higher. I’m always on what to create next and what is my next idea that I can share with the world. This is such a fulfilling journey for me throughout the ups and downs of starting a business. It’s still one of my biggest achievements.
Please tell us about Glamour Goalz.
My company at the moment is to provide beauty. I sell fashionable sunglasses and custom sunglasses. I’m a custom wig maker and I’m a Hair Distributor. I’m proud that I’m organically building my clientele through word of mouth, popup shops, social media, and online website with my Etsy shop at etsy.com/shop/glamourgoalz. What sets myself apart from others is my originality and abstract thoughts. I will continue to create and make it come to life through my visionaries in which I’m proud of.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood would be playing in my mother’s closet. I would try on anything that would semi fit; coats, jewelry, heels, perfume, gloves, makeup and you name it. I just remember how good it made me feel.
