Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiondra Hamilton.
Hi Tiondra, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
When I walked into massage therapy school, 20yrs ago; I can honestly say I had no clue that I was walking into my purpose. I can honestly say that I had no clue that I would be so divinely supported to show up in this lifetime for myself, for past and future generations, or for those I’m blessed to serve.
Within 9 months of being licensed, I was blessed with my very own office in the heart of 3rd ward, Texas and was immediately supported by the community. I was only 23 yrs old.
I continued to increase my knowledge through trainings, both domestic and abroad, obtaining a host of certifications to better serve my clientele.
After graduating from Texas Southern University in 2009; ROI in relation to Wellness dollars became extremely relevant to the workplace and my second business; Chair4Hire was born.
I was able to build a team of massage therapists to provide onsite chair massage at companies, trade shows, and events. While simultaneously providing therapists with additional revenue and access to potential clients as they grew their private practices.
With over 13 years of an amazing roster of A-list companies and continued presence at trade shows our team now includes yoga instructors, and meditation coaches
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not sure I can say that it has been totally smooth, but it has definitely been omnipotently blessed. Every obstacle has become a blessing of growth and reflection.
Most recently, there was Covid.
By mid-March of 2020, my email was lit with tons of cancellations as companies sent workers home, trade shows we’ve serviced for years were canceled and annual contracts discontinued our services indefinitely. During that time, it was unclear the future of Chair4Hire.
Chair4Hire was eventually hired for a myriad of virtual offerings for employees battling isolation, lack of movement, and Zoom Fatigue.
Shortly thereafter, my private clients were eager to be on the table and with efficient protocols in place; I went back to the table full-time.
Today, I am honored that Chair4Hire is back providing onsite, tangible wellness solutions with an expanding team, providing industry leading compensation for our team members and immediate ROI for the workplace.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Chair4Hire has been my main focus for over a decade now. However, as a Reiki Master and Kundalini Yoga Instructor, I’m super excited to provide intuitive, energy, based therapies with my private clients once again. I am fervent in holding space for my clients as a CONDUIT of The Healing Energy that is inherently theirs’.
In the physical realm, I utilize my training to manipulate muscle tissue, fibers and fascia. But most of my focus lies on the unseen.
By holding my mind’s eye in a full meditative state, while visualizing the individual as whole and divine; it just becomes a different type of session.
I have recently begun to work with somatic, vibrational therapies with sound healing that work to release, emotional attachments manifested throughout the body while bringing the participant’s electromagnetic field into vibrational balance.
Speaking of electromagnetic fields, I now have the ability to photograph an individual’s Aura. Being one of only 3 local providers of the Aura Photography technology; participants are able to see the colors of their energy field, and began to understand the vibrations they emit. It’s an absolutely beautiful experience to get a full understanding of your energetic health and leave with a real photograph of your energy field. It’s well-known world-wide but definitely something new to Houston.
Last but not least, I recently had the opportunity to visit Ghana and worked with a designer who assisted me in bringing The Chakra Healing garment to life. This garment allows for efficient crystal healing, for all 7 major energy centers. Rather on the go, during yoga, meditation or simply laying down, the crystals will stay aligned with your chakras. Created with beautiful Ghanaian fabrics and blessed with Reiki energy, I’m honored to bring this divine vision to life to share with others.
All this talk about energy centers (chakras), I guess you can see how I started my 3rd company, All Chakra Everything. All Chakra Everything was birthed out of the pandemic with the purpose of assisting others in mastering their own healing journeys. With a tea blend, an affirmation shirt, and color-specific glasses for each chakra, individuals are empowered to take personal actions in their healing journey between sessions.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Love and gratitude have been paramount in my journey. I practice it in every moment and every thought. This has allowed me to trust the divine, the process and continually align with success.
