Meet Trailblazer Deborah Queen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deborah Queen.

Deborah, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started blogging about five years ago but I only took it seriously two years ago. I believe that life is meant to be lived and every day is a blessing. My blog, Deborah Queen.com is centered around becoming the best version of myself and encouraging others to do so. I talk about my fitness journey, dating and relationships, food adventures, travel and much more! I kept getting questions especially about my fitness and how I stay motivated and consistent with working out. I decided it was time to share my secrets with the world and I started Deborah Queen Fitness, where I sell personalized and general fitness programs. My latest program, Move With Deborah Queen Vol II will be available for Presale on April 15, 2019. I love what I do and I love encouraging people to become the best version of themselves in all aspect of life.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a very tough journey. My body and consistency have changed a lot through relationship drama, life changes, juggling a 9-6 while trying to keep up with my blog and fitness program. It can be overwhelming and I have cried a lot. But I would not trade my experiences. They make me better. If I would advice other women starting out with their passion, I’d say, do a lot of research, understand your audience, stay consistent and keep going no matter what and most importantly, take care of yourself. Don’t let your wellbeing be jeopardized in the process.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Deborah Queen Fitness – what should we know?
I love uplifting and empowering women whether it’s through my blogs or my fitness program. Designing fitness programs that can be done from the comfort of the home or the gym empowers the women to make choices that work for them. My blogs are also very vulnerable and really do I believe I honestly help my readers connect with my work. I’d say my approach with my fitness program is it centers on consistency rather than perfection which helps people to take on the challenge. I also focus on mental health when training through my online fitness program.

Which women have inspired you in your life?
Brittne Babe, Massy Aries, and Emily Skye. They’re very focused on uplifting women and encouraging them to love their bodies at every stage.
