Meet Trailblazer Natalie Ariz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Ariz.

Natalie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my blog a year after I experienced a heart attack in my late 30’s. The blog truly started off organically, as I felt a renewed self and overall appreciation to my surroundings. I started snapping pictures and was so grateful for the culturally diverse city in which we live in and wanted to promote new thinking of being a “tourist in your own city” type of approach. In the beginning, I set out goals for each month and attained them each time, and here I am two years later seeing this hobby flourish into a promising business model. Without having any prior expectations in mind, it has been a most satisfying experience. I have focused more on curating a Houston City Guide with elevated finds, sprinkled in with travel and overall inspiration in multiple genres. With a huge emphasis on “Support Local, Shop Local”, as I love to support our local business owners/entrepreneurs by shopping small.

In my blog, you will experience a gamut of finds, such as neighborhood coffee shops, niche boutiques, fine dining, to art exhibits. Really anything that falls under the umbrella of (luxury) lifestyle, including interior design stores and promoting non-profit organizations, and events alike. While also promoting luxury services, such as facialists to home organizers and literally anything in-between. It embraces all that I love. I find tremendous satisfaction is sourcing things for people, networking, connecting like-minded people and encouraging everyone to train their eye; there is beauty in everything, so long as you stop long enough to see it. Plus, you only live once – make the best of it!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Nothing is fool or error-proof, but being authentic is my best advice. Advice that I remind myself constantly. You can only pretend to be something you’re not for so long. Being authentic has staying power and allows you to focus on your true objective. And lastly, integrity. The two virtues are applicable both personally and professionally and grounds for success in all your affairs.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about The Impeccable Find (A lifestyle blog) – what should we know?
I am most known for my Instagram feed @theimpeccablefind which overlaps to my blog. I specialize in, but not limited to, being a Micro Influencer, Brand Ambassador, Business Campaigns, Promoting, Networking, Collaborations, and overall Branding Guidance. Along, with ghostwriting and photography.

What’s the most important piece of advice you could give to a young woman just starting her career?
You don’t always have to have a plan. In a day and age where everything is planned out to the utmost degree, it’s nice to proceed in an organic fashion. It’s a great way to find yourself in the process. Being so calculated in my younger years and recognizing that I’m more of a creative person than not, has been so incredibly rewarding and freeing. Do what you love, and the success will follow. I didn’t have that luxury in my younger years, or so I thought. I think there is a new movement of finding what sparks “Joy”… and this life of blogging, inspiring others and finding the beauty in everything is my joy factor! And if I brighten one person’s day or shift their perspective, my goal has been attained… and to me, that is success!
