Thanks for sharing your story with us Ursula. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
As you reflect on your life, chances are you didn’t realize the moment it all changed. The changes of our kids are so gradual then all of a sudden, they are completely different. This is why I do this.
I began documenting the years thru yearbook in high school. I was obsessed with making layouts and telling stories thru pictures, writing & videos. I quickly became an editor, I knew I wanted my classmates to remember the good times of school, and I made sure no one was left out of the yearbook.
When I became a mom, the transition was seamless. I knew the days were going too fast and I knew I needed to bottle up all the little moments as much and as fast as I could. I began taking videos and photos and merging them together to make something more than a photo. When you watch them, you can place yourself right back to the scene and live it for a tiny bit.
More importantly, your child can relive it. Babies will never remember as they army crawled across the floor, and kids will never remember when they used to giggle. But with these videos they can see…. they can see how their daddy spun them, how they clung to their momma, but more importantly they can see how much they were loved, from the very beginning!
Your family needs a family video. Right now. Wherever your family is in life, whatever kind of family you have. Life is fleeting. Pause the moments. Play the memories.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been the sweetest road. I think all moms miss their babies, but sharing these videos and photos and moments with them and reliving it with them makes it all worth it.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over, I would have started sooner. I waited until I had a kid of my own because I didn’t think there was anything to document before. I was so wrong. I have clips of moments here and there, and I treasure them so much. Lots have changed, lots have happened, and it was important, and it led me here.
