Today we’d like to introduce you to Yolanda Sherman.
Yolanda, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In 2007, I heard God call me to another level in ministry. But in the midst of receiving this call, I also heard God say lead my people to true raw, refreshing authentic worship experience. And as we moved in that area, the Lord then added the work of community outreach. Since 2008, we have seen thousands of lives inspired, impacted, and improved.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It is important to note anything of importance, and anything causing change will not come easy. Personal life, family life and ministry life all have been affected tremendously throughout this journey.
BreakFree Release Ministries International – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Our mission is to equip, empower, and educate youth and women through community outreach programs that provide physical, social, and spiritual resources. Through various counseling services and mentoring initiatives, our goal is to improve the overall quality of life for individuals in our program.
We further seek to allow God to use your life in a greater capacity and as an example for others through praying, fasting, seeking the WORD to pour healing to those who are hurting internally through the Power of God and in His presence.
We believe that through one’s connection to Break Free Release Ministries International, the ability to live a surrendered life under God’s authority is made to be possible. Once again thank you for experiencing Break Free.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is bringing about improvement and causing change and challenge to help empower those with a purpose to live their lives in fulfillment of that purpose.
