Today we’d like to introduce you to Brenda Salas.
Hi Brenda, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey began in 2013 when I worked as a receptionist at for a Real Estate Brokerage as well as a Real Estate Photographer. My passion in this industry lead me to become a Texas licensed agent. My favorite place to be is my home and I love helping Individuals and families find their happy place, their home. I’m a hard working wife and mom, family is always my priority and motivation. I strive to give my clients the respect and care I would want for my own family.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey to get here was not an easy one for me but well worth it. Through my schooling, my husband and I got a huge surprise and nine months later, welcomed our first son, Ezra and 3 months after he was born we had surprise number 2, our son Oliver. Schooling took longer than expected, but I was committed to not give up, even with 2 babies I made it!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a Texas Real Estate Agent, I help people relocate within our city or out of state. I’m a creative person when it comes to marketing, My knowledge as a photographer helps me help my clients to ensure they have the best home photos. I have genuine interest with every person that comes my way, I try to understand what they’re going through and how I can make their home buying or leasing process enjoyable.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Finding Nan Properties was one of the best choices for my career. I’ve grown and learned so much, I joined Nancy Ramos team, she’s an amazing and successful individual in the real estate world. Her along with our team, we help each other and encourage each other to reach goals and serve our city.
