Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Hunter.
Hi Brittney, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always loved creating things. Anything that allows me to create has my heart. Statement earrings are a big deal to me! I would make earrings about 10 years ago but never took it seriously. It wasn’t until last year that I decided to pursue creating earrings full time. Prior to making earrings, I would also make hats with the word “melanin” which would represent me as a person of color but also would allow me to express my personal style. We will probably be bringing the hats back this year.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely has not been easy! But I have always believed that anything worth it will not come easy. It’s up to the individual to keep going. I am still learning although I have learned a lot there’s still so much to learn and do. I learned the true value of “it won’t happen overnight” but it will happen in God’s timing.
Consistency is key in whatever you choose to pursue. I had to learn that no matter what, keep going.

We’re an online retail store that specializes in creating accessories (earrings, hats, etc.)
What sets us apart from others are our unique shapes and colors of what we create. Our goal is to make minimal pieces that make a bold statement.
