Today we’d like to introduce you to Steven Champagne.
Hi Steven, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
After moving on from my health and wellness company that focused on life coaching, fitness, and nutrition I decided to return to being an artist to continue my pursuit of making the world a better place by helping change people by telling stories with fine art, photography, and videography.
Victorious Ones is not just a word that I came up with, it is a description of my life. I have not had an easy life by any means and have been to the top and the very bottom and back again. My life is one of discovery, failure, and overcoming. I am grateful for all my experiences and believe that they have given me unique insight and the ability to do things others cannot. I have always been an artist and teacher and Victorious Ones exists to offer my abilities and connect other artists, photographers, and videographers to help others find their way to create and grow and overcome the obstacles in their life. A way to become one of the Victorious Ones.
Spending time with my family is important to me and defines a big part of my life, but each day I am active and love the outdoors so hitting the gym first thing in the morning is paramount. After serving in the Marines I found a love for travel and adventure so any outdoor activity from camping, hiking, dirtbikes, and exploring other cultures are things I love. I am definitely a deep thinker and enjoy discussing philosophy, history, art, movies, and of course photography. I believe in meditation and the spiritual essence of all things and truly love the world and my relationship with God.
All of my clients tell me how wonderful their experience is because I bring truth and care to the session. My clients are about relationships and capturing those moments not just taking photos or creating art.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Being an entrepreneur is never a smooth road. I am currently in my 3rd business and it is a daily struggle to stay in tune with the industry and its rapidly changing tides. Of course, over time there is a level of automation, delegation, and scalability that comes along with building a brand but entrepreneurs are unique in their ability to remain rooted in their resolve to nurture their vision. It is a fine balance between leading and letting go which is why I began consulting for businesses which I still currently do today. This has allowed me to teach and learn better processes and procedures to become a better and more effective proponent of my vision which is currently embodied in my company Victorious Ones. I specialize in creating luxury fine art and creative photography with an old-world unique experience to put physical pieces of art into the world that have intrinsic value. I have also brought my past experiences of life coaching, sports nutrition, and physical therapy into this venture to help people overcome the obstacles in their journey and become one of the Victorious Ones.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Art is a lifestyle and a way of life. Two distinctly different yet same facets of reality. To create and to experience creation is the core tenet of my endeavor to be creative. I understand that the way I affect this world and others in it should be an art. Each word spoken and each action committed should be beautiful and create beauty. It took me many years to understand why I felt differently and saw differently than others and I made many mistakes along the way navigating this darkness only to learn that it is a gift, not a fault. Through this experience, I have learned that there is no better medium to teach people the truth and a better way to see than to learn the principles of art. When we begin to treat ourselves as a piece of art only then can we understand that our duty is to build our mind, body, and spirit to work harmoniously to their fullest potential to create a whole being of quality character and goodness.
What makes you happy?
Travel and education make me happy because it allows me to see the wonders of the world and humanity, but more importantly, it allows me the opportunity to meet many diverse and interesting people who help me grow as a person and be more understanding. I believe it is important to grow our understanding of what it means to be a human instead of getting locked in our narrow cultural view of the world and its people. The future holds a unified population that sees beyond culture or demographics and allows humanity to become focused on the pursuit of ascension rather than division.
I grew up loving and dreaming of being a journalist for National Geographic because this ability to become part of people’s lives around the world is so captivating and powerful. I am still searching for a way to tell this story, to travel, and to bring a new perspective to people because it helps us realize our daily squabbles are trivial and we are a part of something larger, grander, and more beautiful than just our selves.
