Today we’d like to introduce you to Teri Davis.
Hi Teri, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Having to take in my niece at one and nephew at three years old in 2011 at only 27 years old because my sister was addicted to pain killers, I knew I had to to grow up super quick than what I imagined. I was lost and didn’t know what to do. I turned to God, stepped out on faith and left my office job in the Medical Center.
While with no work, I continued to pray and read the word of God and I turned my side hustle of preparing taxes into a business. God placed the people in my life to set me up for success, and I had no idea what he was doing behind the scene. Because of my success, I am now able to help other people open up their businesses with financial help and wisdom to guide them in success as well. Because of the blessings God has poured on me, I opened up a second business as a Licensed Microblading Artist. I want to inspire people that we can do anything with the help and guidance of God, and when we give back, we a truly fulfilling our purpose in life.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road at all! The struggles were raising three kids, being a mother, and being a businesswomen. Anyone can imagine the amount of pressure that can put on any one alone. I wanted to give up, but I remembered why I started it all in the first place, because I believed I could, and I believed that God wouldn’t let me down.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I prepare a variety of tax returns, tax consulting, and tax knowledge. I specialize in providing loyalty to all my clients no matter what business I’m offering services to. I’m known for building my clients up and offering Godly wisdom and counsel at the same time I’m serving them. I’m most proud that I started from nothing, and because I decided to step out in a new territory, in faith, God built me into the woman I am today! What sets me apart is I’m a businesswoman, but I love people and have a desire to enrich each one of my clients and people with the love God gives to me.
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is that I have an invisible friend Jesus, that guides, teaches, and leads me and I’m able to give and show that love to my family, community, etc.
