Today we’d like to introduce you to TeVaun Scallion
Hi TeVaun, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Walkin’ Skeleton originated in high school when my friends about teased my frail appearance to create the Walkin Skeleton. Over time I transformed the meaning into one that can resonate with any audience. Walkin’ Skeleton stands for it’s not about your outside appearance rather than your character. We all have a skeleton and that’s one of the many way we’re connected as people..During the final year of undergrad, I found my passion within film launching Walkin Skeleton Productions. A media production company geared to tell stories overlooked within our society. Through film and poertry. After undergrad I received by Master’s in Digital Media and Professional communication from Texas Southern University. I believe full-heartedly that Walkin’ Skeleton will change the world.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road whatsoever! Throughout this whole process learning how to properly manage while being in school. Moving to different cities and having to build a clientele over again. Not to mention trying not to do everything yourself and building a team that has a similar passion to create opportunities to share their or other peoples talents collectively.

I specialize in Photography/videography. What I’m known for possibly is more from networking constantly to help others bring to life what they’re thinking. Doing whatever I can to be able to help others express themselves is what I find the most joy in.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I listen to a variety of podcasts to get ideas on different ways to build or bring to help give me different ideas that I may not have thought of. Black Wealth Renaissance, Earn Your Leisure,Kneading Dough, The Creativez Podcast, etc. Those podcasts really give me a different way of looking at things.
