Today we’d like to introduce you to Trena Gilkes.
Hi Trena, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My love for photography is undeniable and everlasting. Everywhere we went, we would take pictures with my stepfather. These trips instilled in me the love and art of photography at a young age. I got my first camera when I was 14 and began capturing images of people, scenery and objects that inspired me. What began as a serious hobby in 2017, quickly turned into a gallery full of birthday parties, family portraits, proms, baby showers, graduation photos, and headshots worthy of a professional. It has been an honor sharing in others’ lives, creating and forever capturing the stills of those special moments that they can look upon for a lifetime. I look forward to sharing in your precious occasions as well.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It surely has not been an easy road for me because being an entrepreneur, there’s ups and downs of the business and you just have to roll with the rolls and punches of it all. Patience and a lot of prayers goes a lot of ways.

Trena Gilkes Photography is a Corporate Headshot Photographer, Portrait, Boudoir, Beauty, Branding, Graduation, Events and more. I am located in Southwest Houston but service all areas of Houston.
Our photography studio is located at 10515 Southwest Freeway Suite#E4 Houston, Texas 77074 but not only do we have a studio, we also travel to you. Trena Gilkes Photography also provides photography services in Sugar Land, Richmond, Pearland, Cypress, Katy, Humble and surrounding areas. We have affordable photography packages available for all of our customers.
What’s next?
My Plans for the future are growing to new aspects and expanding to a nicer bigger Studio from where I’m at now maybe somewhere in Downtown Houston.
