A few things about me: I love flowers, pretty things and witty words. Scotland is my favorite place in the entire world. (See my #outlander shirt?!) I fell in love with my sweetheart when we were 15 and 16. We’ve been inseparable ever since. He still makes me swoon. My favorite weddings are intimate, timeless and personal. I stalk florists on IG. My mom (Co-owner, Bridgette Wright) is my best friend. My kids are awesome. I over-pack. I love wallpaper. I don’t sleep well. I collect moonstone and ironstone dishes. I love baseball. I read. Ok, it’s finally my turn. I’ve been putting it off, could you tell?! #fridayintroductions here we go! Hey there, I’m Fawn. 🤓. Owner of FDD. I started this company when we moved from Colorado to Houston 6 years ago. Looking back it seems like a pretty crazy thing to do, I didn’t know a soul in the wedding industry, I really didn’t know much about Houston, and I was pregnant. But it must have just felt right because I don’t remember being nervous or worried. I’ve never been much of a planner, more just a jump in head first, hold on tight and see what happens type. So here we are, 6 years later doing this thing! It hasn’t been easy, I say I’m going to quit at least once a month 🤣. But it’s what I love and it really is my passion. I have 2 amazing kiddos that you will see pop up in instastories from time to time and an amazing husband that’s our accountant, prop builder and support system. Now you have met all of #teamFDD !
