Today we’d like to introduce you to Thomas Messina.
Thomas, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I grew up in the construction and mechanical industry. With a strong understanding of residential and commercial and industrial construction. I am a jack of all trades. It was 1989 when I found a combined interest in refrigeration processes. At that point I attended a technical school while working in the residential remodeling and supporting a family. A wife and three sons. I am an entrepreneur always looking for that opportunity. After working in the HVAC industries for many years it was time to step out on my own. In 2007 I started my own company. With 27 years doing residential and commercial air conditioning and heating I have come a long way. Anything worth having is worth working for. Along with the work there are always sacrifices. That goes with anything you do to achieve your goal. The keys to success is hard work, determination, and persistence. I have lived by that motto all my life and it’s worked for me. Along with a positive attitude and integrity you can achieve anything.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Owning your own business is a challenge. A challenge worth fighting for. It hasn’t been easy with hiring employees and finding people that want to work physically and mentally hard. It not easy to be as my wife says “spider men” crawling around in attics that are 150 degrees or more. But at the end of the day I know I have saved the day.

A/C Plus Air conditioning and Heating Company specializes in residential and light commercial air conditioning and heating comfort cooling and indoor air quality. We service, repair and replace all makes and models. We are a certified American standard and Goodman products dealer. We offer service Plus agreements. The plus agreement is and annual maintenance plan with many benefits for the Plus customer. Our plan does a lot more than our other competitors. A/C Plus is known for our attention to detail, the quality and the craftsmanship of our work. Our professional staff and specialized knowledge along with our fair pricing structure we are cut above the rest. We pride ourselves on the respect, cleanliness and the timely manner for our customers. Our customers are so satisfied With A/C plus that we have so many referrals for their friends, family, neighbors. The thing that sets us apart from the others is our integrity.

I credit my family for all of their support from the beginning. They have stood by me through the good times and the struggles. They have encouraged me and always believed in my vision for this company. My loyal customers of course that continue to use my services and referred us over and over. My wife is my cheerleader and my advocate. She says that if Thomas can’t fix it no one can. We are a great team together we get a lot accomplished.
