Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystal Little.
Krystal, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I created Yesss Hair to merge two things that I’m passionate about – quality hair extensions and giving to the less fortunate.
Hair extensions give you the freedom to express yourself. From the different textures available and lengths, I love how we have the ability to enhance our natural beauty by simply changing our hairstyle.
After years of wearing other brands, and spending loads of money, I decided to research as much as possible on how I could create my own online hair extension store which would provide quality products at an affordable price and give back to the community along the way.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It took a couple of hours on Go Daddy’s GoCentral Website Builder and a few pictures to create my online hair extension store.
On January 26, 2019, I held my breath and launched Yesss Hair.
The hardest part about starting Yesss Hair had to be just hitting the “publish your site now” button on my website. But, I figured I would rather launch it scared out of mind, instead of not at all.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
Yesss Hair is a luxurious virgin hair collection for the woman who wants more life out of her hair AND her purchase.
Every purchase made with Yesss Hair helps a child in need.
Each month 10% of gross sales will go towards school supplies, clothing, graduation requirements, first-year college care packages, etc. for students at an impoverished school.
Donations are announced monthly through Yesss Hair’s newsletter and blog.
By subscribing to the
Yesss VIP Club, customers can see how their purchase has made a difference.
What were you like growing up?
Funny you should ask this. I LOVED playing in hair for as long as I can remember.
From middle school on, I was responsible for creating new hairstyles on my sisters and cousins. Whether it was a perm or finger waves or microbraids, everyone hit me up when it was time to change up their hair.
Growing up in Southern Mississippi in the late 80s, no one I knew really wore hair extensions. But, moving to Florida in 2002, EVERYONE changed up their style with extensions. Here’s when my love for weave started.
