Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Sabel.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I grew up on a street of 9 boys within 3 years of me. After we graduated, we all kind of went our separate ways. Some of us married, some of us went to college, we all kept in contact, but it was very sporadic. I drove for FedEx from 2007-2012, during this time I reconnected with one of the guys I grew up with. He told me he was in the roofing industry and that it was an awesome industry. Summer of 2012, I went to work for him and reconnected with Adam Rod, who was working for him as well. Adam and I teamed up and became very successful very quickly selling roofs. During this time, we realized there were some real issues in the business and that things were not up to our standards. After a lot of prayer, I decided to break off in March of 2013, it was one of the hardest most stressful decisions of my life, but we did it. Adam Rod left with me and we started Redemption. From day one our motto was to Love. Serve. and Care. There were times it was very difficult but we stood tall and did the right thing for every customer, every time. In 2013 we added Matt Cooper, who is now my GM and since then we have grown to 12 salesmen and a full support staff. We now have 18 employees and we are continuing to grow.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road is never smooth, if it was I would be worried. The bumps and mistakes allow us to grow. Starting a new company in our industry is very tough. It was a constant battle to get homeowners to trust us, but we pushed through and succeeded. We challenged homeowners to give us a chance, when they did, they received true customer service. We have many new friendships that developed after replacing their roofs.
So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Redemption Roofing story. Tell us more about the business.
We replace both residential and commercial roofs and roof related work (gutters, siding, windows, paint). We are known for our customer service. Our motto is to Love. Serve and Care, every customer, every time! I am most proud of the team I have hired, we are a group of friends that truly care about each other and our customers and it shows in our work. Our hearts is what sets us apart from other companies, we truly care about our customers.

No luck, I am a man of God. I believe that everything happens for a reason and by trusting in God, he will carry you through the tough times and walk beside you in the good times. The tough times allow for growth. It is all in your mentality.
