Meet Trill Mac of iHustle Clothing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trill Mac.

Trill, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Welcome to iHustle Co!

I started small back in 2016, I remember being in my granny garage selling shipments. I sold shirts at work, at the club, the gas station. iHustle became everyday attire for me.

I come from a family filled with hustlers, yes I was spoiled but we didn’t always have it. All throughout grade school, I sold candy to make extra money. Even in the neighborhood. That’s how the name “iHustle” came about. iHustle is more than just a brand, its a lifestyle! Growing up in the hood, it was always somebody trying to turn a quarter into a bankroll. There were many times, family & I bought shipments, just to give away free merch. It wasn’t always a profit from this. At one point, the business was even on pause due to my incarceration in 2016. After being released on June 20th, 2017, I lost the closest thing to me eight days later (my grandmother). After a long period of isolation, I grew the drive to take this brand to the top! I was homeless, broke & hungry! After relocating to a new environment & working two jobs seven days straight, I finally saved enough to cut out the middle man & print for myself. With the help of my supporting family, iHustle Co (BY ANY MEANS) is back up and running & on the way to the top! I am a walking testimony & I’m here to show people that when you pray & HUSTLE… ANYTHING is possible!

Has it been a smooth road?
This road to entrepreneurship hasn’t been easy at all but definitely worth it. There have been many times I didn’t make a profit off shipments. At times, the family tried to sabotage my business. There was even a time the business was on hold after losing everything, I had to ride solo for a while to rebuild. I trust the process though!

We’d love to hear more about your business.
iHustle Co (By Any Means) is the new urban wear. The name explains it all. I specialize in getting it BY ANY MEANS. I’m definitely proud of the growth in my business, the support, & the fact that people can relate to the message I’m trying to give. My drive is what set me apart from others, I’m hungry! I don’t care how many doors close or plans fail Ima make something happen BY ANY MEANS!

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I wouldn’t say Houston is a bad city to start your own business. It’s just harder, it’s like the crabs in a bucket concept. Houston doesn’t show love as we should. (It’s way too )much envy & greed but I love my city. If we could come together and uplift each a lot more, people would be on right now. I know a lot of people leave Houston & get more love when they do. I think you just gotta have tough skin out here. Can’t get discouraged about who don’t support, I’m grateful for the ones that do. You gotta put it in the face, like it or not I’m always going to hustle by any means.
