Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike Miller.
Mike, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I got started teaching at an alternative high school where I created an athletic program. I started a basketball team & soccer team at the school which sparked the AAU youth sports program The Alief Clovers.
Has it been a smooth road?
Not at all & we still have struggles mostly financially because most of our athletes don’t have the support system they need to compete on the elite level. So, my coach’s & I have to sponsor most of our students but it has been worth it & hard at the same time.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Alief Clovers – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a Non-Profit Youth Sports Program. We specialize in developing basketball & track athletes & opportunity for them to compete on an elite level which gives them a chance to earn a college scholarship.
I specialize in creating programs/platforms, I like to put people where they want to be at every day so I have created basketball, Track & soccer is my next sport but I just need the resources.✔️
I’m proud that we have been able to help change kids loves by helping them live out there dreams of becoming a student/athlete in college, we have sent over 20 players to college.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love my city, I love the divinity, the grind & how when people find out about people like me the will support the energy.
Flooding I hate it.
