Today we’d like to introduce you to Paige Baker.
Paige, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My Team Member and Mother, Julie Baker, started her career in Real Estate before I did. I started learning the ropes of the Real Estate Industry and soon realized this is what I was meant to do with my life. Throughout our time together in Real Estate we have been blessed with the amazing people we have met and the relationships made. We have built up an amazing referral business with our clients. We strive to give the absolute best service we can to anyone we meet. You have to treat others how you would want to be treated in this Industry. The home buying or selling process can be quite overwhelming and if we can take any of those worries away we can. We also have been very fortunate to come into contact with amazing people who have brought forth opportunities that we couldn’t have ever dreamed of. This year has been so good to us so far and we are so grateful for where it has taken our career and can’t wait for the years to come!
Has it been a smooth road?
Life is never a smooth road but that is what makes it that much more exciting! Life is made up of the decisions you make whether they me little or big. They all add up to where you are in life. So far in the Real Estate Industry it has always been a struggle for me to find balance in my life with my career and personal life. I am the type of person who always wants to succeed in everything I touch whether that be work, friendships and even fitness and trying to be the best at everything all of the time can be quite exhausting. I often fall short in one of those sectors as all people do at some point and I have come to accept that no one is ever perfect. One thing my Team Leader, Randy Olive always reminds us is that if it is not in your calendar it does not exist so I strive everyday to time block the important things I need to better serve myself and my clients. Life never will be a smooth road but it is one heck of a drive.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into The Baker Team story. Tell us more about the business.
My Mom and I formed The Baker Team at KW Platinum about a year ago. When I originally joined KW Platinum I never could’ve imagined we would be where we are today. My Mom and I are known for being about as real as you can get. We always are ourselves no matter where we are or who we are with and I think there is some importance to that. At the end of the day people will love and appreciate you for who you are. There is no need to try and conform to how everyone else is around you and focus on what is unique and special about yourself because that is what makes you, You! Keller Williams is always known for its Culture and we strive to always include that in our personal lives and career. We organize events at our Market Center and were even privileged enough to be given the honor of starting our Vendor Program at our Market Center. We have amazing relationships with some of our Vendor-Partners in our area and love being able to help their business grow just like they help all of us Agents everyday in our transactions. Relationships are the most important thing in life and especially in our Industry.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
As the years go by I see the Real Estate Industry getting better and better every year. This year I know no one was expecting the interest rates to drop as low as they have and that has opened up so many opportunities for people who maybe thought they would never have the chance of homeownership. The market will always shift between a Seller’s Market and Buyer’s Market and it is always important for us to keep an eye on it for our clients to better serve them. Also with the amazing Mortgage Lenders we have the pleasure knowing they continue to surprise us what they are able to offer our clients as well. It is always to helpful having great relationships with Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies and Residential Service Companies as they are the ones who continue your service with your clients and help continue the legacy you leave behind. Big things are continuously coming to the Real Estate Industry and I can’t wait to find out what is next!
