Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyris Brown.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Kyris. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Fashion has been apart of my family since I could remember. My mother is an elegant dresser, she would wear Givenchy and floor-length minks like it was the norm. My biological father is most dapper man I know, he’s a legend in many eyes. And most certainly my great grandfather Henry Perkins Sr. He was the quintessential southern gentleman, he stayed with a fedora and loved to shine his shoe collection. He raised me with the principles there is three things you notice when you first see a person; their race, gender and what they have on, so represent all three well. That stayed with me.
I started many years ago as a kid. I’ve always earned best dressed by my peers in grade school. Fashion sports and martial arts broke me out my shell. And since a kid, I customized clothing and sneakers. I earned degrees in business and fashion, gained exposure from the business and trial & error has helped me reach my point where I am today.
Since I was 15 years old, my life’s goal is to improve my family’s legacy; spiritually, in Health, financially and intellectually. I know my Great grandpa is smiling now, I can feel his spirit around me. My mother is proud, fathers and family too. I’ve beat the odds, so I already feel as if I met my goal. However, I’m still trying to impress myself, and ultimately, the whole world is going to feel me!
Has it been a smooth road?
The road less traveled is always the route I’ll take. Struggles and hardship are apart of anything worth having. Whenever I start something, I look for the friction and setbacks, because I know joy and success is on the other side.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Kyris Kustoms story. Tell us more about the business.
Kyris Kustoms specializes in “Opulent” custom made to measure and bespoke menswear. Designer and founder Kyris Amiel Brown utilize fine, luxurious fabrics from world-renowned garment mills, combining European classical tailoring methods.
All garments are constructed in the United States of America. Our client’s satisfaction is first, we give great effort creating custom clothing that fits any lifestyle event. Business, leisure, or formal occasions; our brand is widely used and trusted. Endless creative options and designs, there isn’t limitations when building elegant garments from scratch for diverse clients.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The Men’s custom wardrobe industry is making a very strong push in technology. The tech surge has allowed big name brand stores who traditionally specializes in ready to wear retail, are now offering custom clothing options at a quick turnaround and fraction of the cost.
This is threatening many smaller brands who specialize in custom wardrobe. In ten years, many smaller custom businesses will collapse if their business model isn’t vertically integrated. However, I’m prepared for the shift. I will adapt just as my relatives did back in their day. Because of some things no matter how convenient or affordable it is, just isn’t quite the same if it isn’t made the old fashion way. Mac & cheese out the box maybe quick and easy to make and it maybe cheaper, but it doesn’t taste better than granny’s Mac & Cheese made the old way.
