Today we’d like to introduce you to Jared Williams.
Jwill the ego is based out of Houston Texas and started making and writing music when he was 14 years old. He comes with a modern hiphop and R&b style with a little mix of pop. His sound is unique and he includes all ranges of his talent, with influences from J.Cole Bryson Tiller Drake and Jay-Z. He wants to heal the would with his lyrics and melodies. He has three singles out which include: No Mercy, Rockits, and No cap, his latest release. He working on a 4-5 song EP titled ascension, and more music to come. Using his talents, he created a YouTube page dedicated to helping the youth reach inner peace and happiness within themselves.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. The passion behind the music is what really kept me going. I mean dealing with your minds negativity alone was one thing but to add everyone else’s on top was something I struggled with most.
Can you give our readers some background on your music?
My business is music. I specialize in producing engineering mixing mastering and composing songs. I feel like I’m known for what I rap and amazing about mostly, I wanna help the public in anyway I can so I’m most proud of what I’ve chosen my brand to be. I believe what sets me apart from others is my drive work ethic and the amount of different hats I put on for my business to thrive.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment of my career so far was putting together a show in Austin basically with the team of artists who performed that night. It just showed me I really can do this without a record deal.
