Today we’d like to introduce you to Trini White.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
During my mid-twenties, I was known as the popular party host, I was the go to person. All of my friends and their acquaintances would book me as their host for ladies night and any other occasion. My cocktail specialty were a hit amongst my friends. I later gained an interest in wine tasting. I was introduced to the wine world by my husband’s co-worker.
I remember being so intrigued with the different taste, I begin to research the different wine types and regions. I moved from Mobile Alabama to Houston, Texas in 2014. The interest in wine still strong, I decided to apply and receive my Texas alcoholic beverage commission certification. This certificate on prompt me to begin traveling around Texas tasting different wines, and attending classes. A creative idea came to mind how I could incorporate a business endeavor using the knowledge I gained from wine tasting. This is when an upscale mobile bartender with a twist materialized. I created my own mobile bartending company called WineTenders. The WineTenders serves Houston and surrounding areas, specializing in beginners wine tasting, cocktail mixing and other bartending services. I also host many different functions, as well as birthday celebrations and more. I love being a mobile bartender, and I feel there’s an untouched market waiting to be tapped into.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s has been basically a smooth road. I was fortunate to meet and come in contact with some interesting people who steered me in the right direction. Christina Bailey was very instrumental in the early years of my attempt to achieve my goals, along with some other amazing people, who were coincidental in the food and beverage industry.
Please tell us about WineTenders.
My business is a unique upscale mobile bartending company called WineTenders. I currently serve Houston and all surrounding areas. I’ve been in business for two years and steady growing. First and far most, I, Trinitius White, am the founder of WineTenders. I’m also an employee of my business, I host ladies night, family functions, bridal showers, birthday celebration and more.
I specialize in bartending service, wine tasting and cocktail mixing classes for beginners.
Wine shopping is my expertise, within hours I can show you a clever method. As a company, WineTenders stand behind the motto Love Life, Live Life. With that being said, I’m most proud of being an excellent customer service representative with a great reputation by which majority of my business is generated by referrals.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Growing up as an only child for 12 years.
