Today we’d like to introduce you to Maribel Villanueva.
So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was born and raised in Houston, TX. Wife and smother of two boys, Gael and Maxemiliano, ages four and five.
Fashion and lifestyle has always been a passion of mine. So, I decided to share that with my followers. I now share motherhood experiences, outfit ideas on my Instagram page. I only hope that through my page other people can be influenced to be the best version of themselves.
Has it been a smooth road?
It hasn’t always been easy. Sharing parts of your life. You basically give people a window to judge and criticize you. But I’ve learned that I won’t be everyone’s cup of tea and I’m okay with that.
What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
I’d like to think I’m known for always being myself and seeing what I truly believe in and I’m passionate about. Which is fashion, motherhood and traveling.
Often it feels as if the media, by and large, is only focused on the obstacles faced by women, but we feel it’s important to also look for the opportunities. In your view, are there opportunities that you see that women are particularly well-positioned for?
In this time and era. I think women are really standing out and we are taking all the opportunities coming our way. It is a wonderful and best time to be a woman.
