Meet Rima Dawood of Rima Life Coaching

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rima Dawood.

Rima, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I call myself an ambitious caring woman who longs to see everyone on this Earth happy and content no matter what circumstances surround each one of us!

Life is a journey and once we choose to enjoy it, everything looks better and different. I have traveled a lot around the world since before the social media started to be this popular and since then many of my friends have told me to start a blog or write a book and tell the world how much fun it is to see, meet and taste different cultures and how knowledgeable is looking at those experiences with love and joy!

I moved to the US-Houston from Dubai in 2015 with my family due to my husband’s job, I think I don’t need to mention much after I said I moved from Dubai to Houston 🙂 I did not like that move honestly and felt this is the first time I am not gonna enjoy it but I said I have to try my best which I did and still doing! Until I moved to Louisiana a year after and then was the time to haul a help, I called a life coach I used to meet in Dubai and attend her workshops and asked her for help. That amazing lady which I proudly call a mentor was able to shift my mindset back to how it used to be. While I was coached by her she encouraged me to start my career as my kids are growing and my time is going to be easier to arrange. I did so and tried many fields of majors until I moved to MD-DC area and started applying through the ICF after I felt that coaching is my passion.

I naturally love helping and supporting people and as I mentioned seeing them happy brings me much happiness and changing one person’s life to a better one makes me fly without wings! Since then, I have started learning Coaching professionally and I aim to get the highest one and be an MCC very soon hopefully 🙂 I believe that every field has to be mastered professionally as every job/career’s ethics differ from another and while there are many coaches are ready to give their expertise we need to be smart and attain that from them. Then I thought about developing a radio app to talk to people and give daily parenting and life skills talk shows but my husband and friends encouraged me to do a YouTube channel as it is now much more watched and heard than the radios so we did it and that channel was launched last October 2018 and I loved taping and filming a few episodes and enjoyed all the feedback I received from my followers and viewers until we moved back to Houston last April and I am now a little busy with real networking and connecting to people in Houston.

But I am definitely going to make it active as it was and film more episode, I love creating a simple and easy language content that can reach to different types of people… one secret to you only Voyage Houston 🙂 People call me the positivity booster and balanced life compass! I am deeply humbled by all the love and confidence I see from people around me! I am a true believer of this saying by a great poet. I love Mahmoud Darwich ”On this Earth there is something worth living for” and that thing to me is love and giving!

Has it been a smooth road?
It is been a bumpy road indeed but I did enjoy every hump that made me think twice and work harder to achieve. No real struggles but I had to work more on my balance with my family to arrange.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Rima Life Coaching story. Tell us more about the business.
Rima Life Coaching is a growing coaching institute that aims to help everyone in need of any type of personal, emotional, business or any family related issues.

Coaching is like solving a puzzle so we are here to show you which piece you are missing and help you connect them all together in a better way.

I am known for my patience, good listening skills and giving real-time till we solve that issue.

I am proud of what I was able to achieve in this short period of time whether on the social media or in real life which I prefer better 🙂

I have always been the black sheep in my family since I was a child and I think that what still gives me a special flavor wherever I go.

I love to volunteer for a cause as well.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I think it is going to be a successful trend in Life Coaching – entrepreneurship.
