Today we’d like to introduce you to Ivan Sanchez.
Ivan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Ten years ago, I was pushing shopping carts at Kroger’s. 10 years later, I was running for US Congress to push legislation.
Many seasoned generations don’t understand when millennials say they want to make an “impact”. But as President and Founder of Houston Millennials, impact is creating and mobilizing 10’s of thousands of members for a greater vision than oneself. Impact is being able to lend millions of dollars through a financial company called Gold Quest Group. Impact is running for the highest offices in the nation. Impact is changing one life or millions.
Never selling myself short, as my saying goes – see you at the top!

Denial. Doors shut on my face. Spat at. Nay-sayers. Haters. Politics. Business.
Please tell us about Houston Millennials.
Houston Millennials is a 10,000 member Social Purposes corporation that promotes millennial advancement in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
Do pursue our goal through and executive board and six standing committees, which include; the Business Committee, civic engagement committee, communications committee, Health & Fitness Committee, Membership and networking committee, and the community outreach committee.
Each committee has its own function and hosts massive events and initiatives through the city of Houston and beyond. It is why we received the Walt Disney Medal of Honor for the highest Youth Advocacy Award in the Nation.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
We will purchase our own building.
