The All Money is Legal (A.M.i.L.) Brand/Movement had been started back in 2014 by myself and an artist of mine at the time by the name of Don Linen; known for hit single “leanin” landing him a year deal with Russel Simmons in 2017. Due to a slow up, I decided to promote the music with clothing to have something more concrete. I’ve always felt that the eyes were more appealing than the ears. I really wasn’t planning on launching a clothing line but soon as I made my first release on Feb 25, 2018; prior to receiving my four years degree at Texas Southern University; it went ballistic so I was like, “yea I have a full-blown clothing line on my hands”. The All Money is Legal Brand/Movement has three branches with All Money is Legal Apparel being the 3rd following after All Money is Legal Records being the 1st and All Money is Legal Transport ran by my brother Demack Bates being the 2nd.
Although I’ve started clothing about a year and a half ago I have received a tremendous amount of exposure with All Money is Legal (A.M.i.L.) Apparel being in the presence of a handful of today’s influencers such as Rap-A-Lot affiliates (J Prince), Ti, Post Malone, Blac Youngsta, NBA Young Boy, artist/producer XO signed to Rap A Lot known for “off the lot” hit single, NFL defensive back Jermaine Kelly JR, LSU Offensive lineman Dare Rosenthal, IG influencer/comedian 39Cents, Big Spark, MMA fighter Justin Vargas, comedian Doug Williams, South Park Shawty and a list of others.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Speaking on the struggle is overrated to me. I’ve had to overcome what any average person would have to overcome in order to defeat poverty. I consider it to be an adventurous struggle. Either way, I’ll have to do my dougie when it gets muggy. I never had a set route but throughout my journey, I managed to fulfill a four years active duty contract with the United States Army; requiring a tour to Iraq in the year of 2011. I’ve also graduated with a four years bachelor’s degree from Texas Southern University in the 3rd Ward of HOUSTON while acquiring a smooth piece of property followed by the origin of All Money is Legal Apparel.

I am pretty much all across the board but I prefer to take pride in being a fashion designer for my Brand. The All Money is legal (A.M.i.L.) Brand/ Movement is family driven and you can not have f-A.M.i.L-y without (A.M.i.L.) in the middle. All Money is Legal (A.M.iL.) isn’t just about money it is also to build self-empowerment into the people to find one’s happy place being that we all have different levels of comfort. The All Money is Legal movement is also to put emphasis on the fact that they legalize and put taxation on anything they so choose but will lock (Incarcerate) the people up for it, therefore they believe All Money is Legal but they won’t tell us that. Even if you look at the dollar it’ll tell you that All Money is Legal stating, “This note is legal tender for all debts public and private”. As my brand is very detailed I’d also like to add that A.M.i.L. Also symbolizes A.M.E.A.L🥘🥙to nourish the body. And another thing don’t keep it 100, keep it 🅰️〽️iL💰💰™️.
