Today we’d like to introduce you to Haydy Galvan- Arias.
Haydy, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
As many moms, I enjoyed planning my daughter’s birthday parties months in advance. I would spend countless hours pinning, and screen shooting party ideas. Every year the themes she would choose were not sold at stores, so I had to improvise and DIY most of the decor. I really enjoy crafting and decorating, so I didn’t mind it at all. After 11 years of fertility issues our prayers were answered. As a new mom of a boy I was excited to decorate upcoming birthday themes .For my son’s second birthday party I went all out and created a sesame street setup, many of my guest were impressed and wowed by my decor. They were so impressed they thought I had hired an event planner, that’s when I discovered that I have a passion for creating unique party setups that will Wow your guests, just like mine were. My teenage daughter praised me, and motivated me into opening our now Social Media Business accounts. She is so tech savvy like most teenagers, she helps me manage our social media and Marketing accounts. Wow Party Planning truly is a family affair, from my husband who helps with all prop designs, heavy lifting and transport, daughter helping with networking and social media, to me being the sole designer/ planner for Wow Party Planning.
Has it been a smooth road?
No road is ever smooth, and that ok! We just have to keep going, because rough roads lead to smooth destinations. The biggest challenges I have faced while growing our small business is, balancing my full time job in healthcare while being sole head planner and owner of Wow Party Planning. It all has been a learning process. In that process I have met many great people in this industry, from clients that are very good friends of mine, to trusted vendors that have helped me along the way. I am very grateful for that. Many have asked me how I’m able to juggle it all from working a full time job, to being a mom, wife and event planner. One of the questions I get asked all the time is “When do you sleep?” I’ll be honest there is going to be days with minimal sleep, I’m thankful for my family for always having my back and helping out with anything. Yes! It is a lot of work! But it’s all worth it because I enjoy doing my God given gift to decorate.

We are mainly known to decorate kids Birthday parties, & while we enjoy that, we also love and enjoy planning other types of events. As whether it be corporate, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Quinceaneras, Sweet 16, Anniversaries we can do it all! Decorating is my passion & I love seeing the look on my clients and guest faces!
We try to stay up to date on the latest trends, and each day we learn and grow as a party planning company.
We specialize in Themed party decor, balloon garlands, & party prop rentals.
I have always enjoyed celebrating and serving others & I believe that has helped me be able to have a creative eye to create memorable events that will Wow your guests.
Our services range from those who have already booked all their vendors to those that want to sit back and enjoy their event experience stress free.

What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
The most important advice as a Latina business owner is to be passionate and have faith in everything you do, as well as unwillingness to give up.
Be a hard worker and your work will pay off. I have always had a strong work ethic & I can thank my mother for instilling that in me.
As a single parent my mother always showed us how hard she worked for us to succeed in the United States & motivated us to work hard to reach our goals.
