Today we’d like to introduce you to Bruce Johsnon.
CEO/Founder: Bruce Johnson is widely becoming known for his humanitarian efforts of personifying individual and business platforms to greatness. Having first-hand knowledge of challenge and sacrifice, it is a longing personal belief that driven with hope and determination, greater things to come are possible and attainable for all who so desire. Out of this mindset stemmed from the 1000 Men Empowerment Group, which assists Veterans Men, Women, and Youth in transition and 1000 Men Empowerment Labor Field, which provides job opportunities. Having received the most flattering compliment anyone could receive, when Speaker, Author and Educator Steadman Graham spoke words of encouragement into Bruce’s life, stating that “Bruce reminds him of a younger motivated version of himself,” allowed Bruce to reflect on and receive fuel to carry on his mission. Further along, in his career, Johnson received his Bachelor of Science in Bible Doctrine from Therapon Theological Seminary and Bible College. Johnson’s acclaimed accolades to date include the prestigious President Barack Obama’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Congressional Award from Congress for Community service. Houston’s First Annual Secret Society Media & Business Award, Houston’s Top 40 under 40 Influential Leader Award, 2011, Black Achiever’s Awards, Proclamations from Senator John Whitmire, and other honorable mentions to name a few. Bruce Johnson has also served as Houston, Texas Martin Luther King Black Heritage Society Parade host for several years and has been recognized by Councilman Larry V Green, ESQ. (Houston City Council Member District K) for his contribution to the Houston Community. Mr. Bruce Johnson inspire youth during his annually Jingle Bells Jam Christmas Celebration for over 18 years beside Southside Community Center Mr. Oliver Stevenson, Giving over 500 youth a cheerful Christmas. Each child receives toys and a book to help encourage Education. Mr. Bruce Johnson is known as a desired professional speaker whose foundation of harboring hope, and fostering possibilities is welcomed. Armed with a message that translates well across the cultural divide and can be molded to meet different and diverse demographics, Bruce is no stranger to the community of the world. Every individual, business or corporation from any or every walk of life in attendance of hearing Bruce speak will learn, and most importantly, will be inspired when attending one of his interactive speaking engagements. Mr. Johnson has made recent appearances on Telethon 55.5 International Television, KRBE 104.1 with Mary Kennedy, and a featured guest on KCOH. Houston’s local ABC affiliate has also covered his efforts.

No, the road has never been smooth. In business, there will always be obstacles to cross, but as long as you preserver, things will always work out through faith.

The very thing I am proud of is to have the opportunity to network with many organizations within the City of Houston and around the world. 1000 Men empowerment Labor Field is a multipurpose logistics and staffing organization. I am a motivational speaker, host, author, recording artist, and advocate for youth. What sets aside from most is we have an open-door policy that offers third chances.

Houston is the most diverse city in the world, but I wish we had subways.
