Today we’d like to introduce you to Mitch and Amanda Justice.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Mitch and Amanda. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Basically we started out of our garage we outgrew that very quickly, moved to a small rental piece of property we out grew that very quickly we bought some land close to Katy Texas and have been there ever since 1994 we don’t have much competition and what little competition we’ve had through the years they don’t stick around. We give a three-year warranty on the appliances that we sell which our customers love we get a lot of repeat business which we love. We also service appliances in the home and we also sell parts new and used over-the-counter.
Has it been a smooth road?
Well in 1993 when we bought the land down the street it was only land so we had to construct our own show room shop and loading dock so basically everybody pitched in and helped and we made it happen, that was probably the largest struggle.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
Our business is rather unique we sell reconditioned appliances washers dryers and refrigerators with a three-year all parts and labor warranty. We are known for our crazy three-year warranty which is more than all the new manufacturers offer but it gives us repeat business we think. I am probably the proudest that after 30 years of business we still offer used appliances for pretty much the same price that we offered him 30 years ago the prices haven’t changed much.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, I do think Houston is a good place for selling used appliances because all types of people want to save money it doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor you have rental property or you’re just starting out you want to save money. I would recommend somebody starting a business like ours. The only change that I wish I could make is the freeway construction will be completed quickly ha ha ha.
