Today we’d like to introduce you to Xzavis Bealo.
Xzavis, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My name is Xzavis Bealo. Born March 3rd, 1992 in Richmond, Texas. As a kid, I was always active playing football from the age of 7 throughout high school. At an early age, I noticed that my skin would break out and react to things that others didn’t have issues with. From chemical reactions that led to breakouts, I learned that I had highly sensitive skin. I suffered from eczema and acne that got so extreme my mother had to travel to different cities and states in search of a treatment or cure if you will.
It wasn’t until after graduating From Lamar Consolidated High school in 2010 that I begin to learn about natural products and their benefits. While in college at Prairie View A&M University, I began to hear the praises of natural ingredients like Shea butter, lavender, almond oil, etc. So I decided to dive in and learn more.
After doing research, I learned there were safer, natural alternatives to the products I was using. I also learned that mixing different carrier oils, butters, and ingredients optimizes results. Mixing the different components reminded me of magic and science projects, which I’ve always been a huge fan of. It felt like I was creating a clear skin and hair growth potion, so I was hooked. The Harry Potter in me was determined to find the perfect formula. After months of research, I found the best formula for me and was excited to share it with friends and family. After hearing their testimonies of the benefits they noticed, I knew I had to share it with the world.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The self-doubt and indecisiveness were my biggest drawbacks and obstacles. I talked myself out of so many things that I wish I wouldn’t have. The biggest one being when to launch. I told myself it was because I wanted everything to be perfect, but I was really afraid to fail. The support that I received from my family, friends, and my community was baffling to me. Things began to flow so smoothly once I shifted my focus. In the end, everything happens when it needs to happen. I’m so grateful for where I am today.
Please tell us about Sweet Xscape.
Sweet Xscape is an all-natural skin, hair, and body care company. My products are made from natural ingredients from all around the world brought straight to you. By mixing these natural ingredients, my goal is to help everyone improve their skin and hair. The aromatherapy from the blend of essential oils is mentally relaxing. To help those who may deal with heavy stress or other mental issues. I want everyone to feel as good as they look. I also have hand-painted jewelry and natural crystals. My motto is to give your skin, hair, and body a Sweet Xscape
To hear people tell me how my products have helped them is what makes me most proud. The support that I received from everyone made me want to show my appreciation. Because by supporting me and using my products that shows they believe in me. No pressure right? That’s why my heart smiles when they tell me that my product works and helped them. It gives me the motivation to keep going. The minor accomplishments like My product being reviewed on YouTube, podcast interviews, and now this magazine interview also make me very proud. To me these are confirmations that I’m headed in the right direction.

I don’t plan to stop helping people. My mission is to help everyone glow on the outside as much as they do inside. I believe your skin and hair has a lot to do with your self-esteem. When you look good you feel good, and vice verse. Self-care and mental wellness are so important. Growing up was rough for me. Being a young, black, gay man in the hood wasn’t easy. I’m so thankful to my mother and father for figuring out how to navigate me through life with no map. We were fortunate enough to have a better life. My parents always stressed to me the importance of looking your best. You don’t always have to look like what you’re going through. I’m determined to help everyone look and feel their best. My motivation, drive, determination, and willingness to help others is what I feel sets me apart.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Launching sooner would be the only thing i’d do differently.
