Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenny Vasquez.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Jenny. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
The idea of Jenny’s Delights began the winter of 2012 shortly after my son was born. I found myself with extra time and filled it through baking. I’ve always had a passion for baking and being creative. Initially I started baking cookies, pies, and cupcakes and soon worked my way up to decorated cakes. Family and friends were always supportive and willing to taste test anything. I was able to experiment with various recipes and fine tune what worked. With the positive and negative feedback, I was able to build up recipes that are still used today.
Moving to Pearland opened the door to new possibilities and Jenny’s Delights took flight. We lived in Pearland for four years and in an effort to expand Jenny’s Delights I attended both the Pearland Farmers Market and the Alvin Farmers Market. I met a lot of people within the surrounding communities and formed lasting relationships with my clients. I’ve been blessed to continue baking for them after all these years and watching my clients and their children grow has been the most rewarding aspect of Jenny’s Delights. I look forward to seeing how their faces light up when their cake is revealed, this is the icing on the cake for me.
A new chapter began in the fall of 2018 for Jenny’s Delights with our move to Webster, Texas. As I continue to grow in our new community, I am honored to continue to have the support of my existing clientele as well. They have chosen to stick with me through this move and for that I will forever be thankful.
My goal for Jenny’s Delights is to form meaningful long-term relationships with my clients. Making myself available for every special occasion and having the opportunity to create something that is both eye pleasing and with an amazing taste.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Moving from Pearland to Webster had its challenges not only in meeting new potential clients but adjusting to the market in the area.

Jenny’s Delights is a Legal Texas Cottage Bakery that provides custom baked goods for any occasion. From custom cookie and cake designs to a simple delicious chocolate chip cookie. No occasion is too big or too small and I am always up for a challenge. I’m best known for my exemplary customer service and attention to detail. I am most proud of the relationships I’ve come to form with my clients, the respect and appreciation for them is what sets me apart from other companies. They’re not just another number but a part of my family, Jenny’s Delights family.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If given the opportunity to start over, I would have created Jenny’s Delights well before 2012.
