Hi Gerald, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I got introduced to landscape and lawn maintenance back in high school I helped a local landscape company out part time and in the summer full time. So after 3 years working with the company that seed kept growing and maturing, but I had to take a break when I went off to college. After college I would still cut family members properties while not working in the plants and when Covid-19 hit in 2020 that’s when I said to myself I need to get back in my favorite niche of lawn maintenance so I started my business on the side and decided to officially go full time in 2021.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was actually an easy change to go full time since I had experimented earlier in 2020 it was really all on me to go full throttle.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am in the grounds maintenance upkeep industry. The main mission or goal is to deliver an affordable and dependable lawn care maintenance service that can accommodate the elderly, low income, and the working- class professional that doesn’t have time to do their own lawn and landscape upkeep. I also tackle tree pruning or cutting, trash haul off and flower bedding and shrub trimming with landscape formations. The most I’m proud of is that I get to transform customers property into beautiful neat art and up keep and the joy and pride they get to see upon completion. The greatest attributes that set me apart is the transparency and customer service provided to the customer making sure that they get the rolled carpet experience when doing business with Flono’s Lawn and Maintenance Care LLC.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is self-motivated and self-determination in pursuing your goals and dreams.

- General basic yard cut $30 and corner lots $45
- Basic mulching flowering beds $100
- Tree trimming/pruning free estimates and decided after upon completed consultation
- Landscape formations and inserts are decided upon free consultation
