Today we’d like to introduce you to Gigi and Earnie Wells. Them and their team share their story with us below:
The Wells Realty Group started in 2020. Earnie became licensed in March 2020, and Gigi was assisting him with various real estate tasks as he was growing his business. After working together for a couple of months, Earnie strongly encouraged Gigi to obtain a real estate license. Once Gigi became licensed in August 2020, The Wells Realty Group was established! We always had an interest in home’s structural and interior designs and always entertained the idea of investing in properties. Also, many friends would call me to ask my opinion of the homes they were considering purchasing and decor they were considering for their homes or apartments.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We are so grateful for the success that we have had in less than one year in business. As we reflect on our business thus far, we have to say that the road has not been smooth! There have been many lessons learned as we approach our 1 year anniversary! We became licensed REALTORS during a pandemic, which meant we had limited face to face interactions, virtual tours, safety precautions to employ, and ensure that we became experts in a changing market. We also had to become savvy in a seller’s market. We guided our sellers when they received multiple offers. Also, we guided buyers when they fell in love with properties with multiple offers. Overall, the small bumps in the road are minimal compared to the joys and triumphs that we’ve encountered.

We assist clients who are ready to buy, sell, lease or invest in real estate. The market we service primarily is Houston and surrounding areas. We assist first-time home buyers and educate them about the home buying process. Most of our clients have been step-up buyers who sell their first home to purchase a larger home. Additionally, we assist clients who are interested in luxury leases. We are proud VA Certified Agents, and we are New Home Construction Specialists. The Wells Realty Group is licensed in Texas and Louisiana. I think what really sets us apart is that were are a husband and wife team. Our clients receive the benefit of two realtors being available during their transactions.

The Bible has been our go-to book for all things related to our life. For real estate specifically, we read all publications from the national, state and local REALTOR associations.
