Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaimie Anand.
Hi Jaimie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Interior design was something I have always been interested in starting at a young age, however, it just didn’t seem like the career you went to college for at the time. I went on to get my degree in Physical Therapy and worked in the field for almost a decade. Shortly after my third daughter was born, I decided to take the leap of faith and pursue my dream career. With the support of my husband I didn’t hesitate and started my own company, Jaimie Anand Interiors was started in 2015. Since first starting, my team continues to grow and we have had some amazing projects all over Texas and Los Angeles. We continue to grow and are expanding to many other cities over the country. Starting this business was definitely a risk, however, I truly believe if you love what you do and work hard, you will succeed. We have received many awards and recognitions and continue to grow within the design industry.
Currently, we have many residential and commerical projects in the works and I am continuing to work on growing my brand.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Success never comes easy. It has definitely taken a lot of hard work and dedication and lots of support from my family. There have definitely been some challenges along the way but I think those helped me come out stronger. Growing a business and at the same time being the lead designer are challenging while at the same time making sure to make time for my family. As the team grows, it is definitely making a difference and making things that much easier.

We strive to be one of the best in our industry for high end design. We strive to provide each client with a unique design that is recognizable as a part of the Jaimie Anand Interiors brand.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I have met many people along the way that I sometimes think could have been luck or just meant to be. However, I believe it takes one person to believe in you and for me that ended up being two people at the same time. It was a well-renowned Doctor in the Austin area and then the owner of a Multi unit condominium building. I was able to prove myself through my designs and work. These projects definitely took my career to the next level and receive many recognitions. So yes meeting the right people at the right time is luck, but then it’s all a matter of delivering an unforgettable design.
