Today we’d like to introduce you to Tasia Calvert.
Hi Tasia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a first-time mom, I knew I had to do something that would not only benefit me, but my daughter’s future. I quickly decided and asked myself “Tasia, what would be a good career path for you and your child?” Before making my decision, I wanted to be sure about making a choice because I knew whatever I decided. It had to be a good choice for her (my daughter). That’s when I chose to become a Real Estate Agent. I quickly did my research on what school to attend. Once signing up, I gave it my full focus. I was able to finish R.E School successfully and quickly. I literally went to school 7days a week nonstop to finish. Once, completed I studied for my State/National Test and passed. I did shed a few tears of joy cause I finally was getting that title behind my name and building a future for me and my little one.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would be lying if I said it’s been a smooth road. It actually has been quite bumpy, but that’s the beauty of building your own empire. Those long nights, building clientele which I am still doing, and making sure to secure each deal is quite stressful. However, I do know one day once I reach the peak I am aiming for. I’ll definitely sit back and laugh and be grateful for this path I’ve been on.

Coldwell Banker is one of the top Real Estate Agencies in the Real Estate World. Purchasing commercial and residential services are provided. My particular branch is located in Katy, Tx (Cinco Ranch). Yet I service a large area other than Katy. Those areas are: Addicks, Bellaire, Brookshire, Brookside, Cypress, Fresno, Fulshear, Harris County (Unincorporated), Houston, Hunters Creek, Katy, Missouri City, Onalaska, Orchard, Pattison, Richmond, South Houston, Spring, Stafford, Sugar Land, and Waller. I’m very goal-driven, I’m actually one of the youngest individuals in my branch. That makes me happy knowing I can really set the bar and make a name for myself. I’ll always say good, because even at a bad time or a bad experience, it was a learning experience. And learning is always a good thing. So I’ll always add the bad to the good. It’s a reason for everything and I’m glad for learning and being able to evolve from all.!
