Today we’d like to introduce you to Tierria Scott.
Hi Tierria, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Back in 2020, I went through a rough time suffering from depression. During that time I struggled with accepting who and how I looked. What I learned during that time was that in order for you to be able to change the things that you disliked about yourself, was that you have to meet yourself halfway and accept where you are now. When starting Somon’e Fitness Collection my goal was to create a safe place for women to be able to wear a two-piece set without feeling uncomfortable and accepting who they are. We are a judgement-free zone, we want women to stop down-talking their beautiful temple and saying the negative comments about themselves. We are all created to be different.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My process has not been smooth. Some struggle I have encountered was every day is a learning process, you have to teach yourself everything there is to know and learn. You teach yourself how to become a content creator, how to be consistent even when you feel you are not in the mood. Everyone always shows the success not too many talks about how much work you have to put into a business for you to reach the top. I feel the main struggle is building up your customers. You have to connect with your target audience and make them feel comfortable enough to want to shop with your brand.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Somon’e Fitness Collection is a women’s activewear company that provides women of all shapes and sizes cute affordable and comfortable clothes. The sets are so cute that you don’t just have to wear them to work out but you can wear them to run errands, dress them up into casual wear. We are known for our great quality. What sets us apart from others is that we are a judgment-free zone our main goal at Somon’e Fitness is for women to embrace themselves as they are no matter where you are in your fitness journey.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I would define success as when you take a small and large goal and turn it into success. It’s a path that won’t be easy where you will encounter some bumps that would make you want to quit and give up but you have to keep your end goal in mind. Success is not a handout it’s something that requires hard work and dedication.
