Today we’d like to introduce you to Serenity Bryson.
Hi Serenity, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I moved to Houston in August 2014 with just my clothes and my car, only knowing my boyfriend at the time. I started dancing May 2015 and quickly became addicted to the nightlife. I knew I didn’t wanna dance anymore but I still wanted to be in the nightlife so I became a bottle girl in 2018. As I begin to find myself,I knew I wanted more and I wanted something different. I bought a vendor list may 2019, despite my ups and downs with that, I started selling lashes, to my surprise they were selling quicker than I expected. So, June 19, 2019; Da LashTrapp was born. I was still in and out the nightlife. Shortly after selling lashes, I took a lash course with The Lash Labbb and started offering individual lashes. The pandemic happened and Onlyfans became the hype for most dancers, I kept saying I wasn’t going to do it, but I stepped out my comfort zone and made a account. It helped keep me and my business afloat. May 2021 I enrolled in Esthetician School. It was definitely a journey. June 19,2022 Da Trapp Beauty Bar was born. I currently still use onlyfans to help fund my business. I don’t regret anything because it made me who I am. Moving to Houston I had no clue what I wanted outta life, I just know I wanted to get out of my small hometown & be successful.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, I lived out of a hotel for 5 months in 2015 and only a few people knew. I hide it from everyone but I knew it would get greater later. 2020 I was raped and thought my life was over, I battled depression and suicidal thoughts for awhile. I turned that pain into hustle and used my business to cope with life.

Services: Full body waxing, Facials, Yoni Steams, Eye lash extensions, Vajacials, henna brow lamination.

I specialize in Brazilian waxes.
I named my business Da Trapp Beauty Bar because I built tiny brand while I was a dancer/ bottle girl. The nightlife was my Trapp and the more I focused on building my brand, the name became clear because my business became my Trapp.
What sets me apart from others…I feel like my brand is very easy to relate to. I’m very open about who I am and how I got here. My Trapp becomes your Trapp when you walk through the door. I offer snacks, hookah and music to your liking to make you as comfortable as possible.
