Today we’d like to introduce you to Javiah Stelly.
Hi Javiah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
So I would say my lash journey began in early 2018. I used to always love seeing lashes on my friends and other girls. So I bought a pair and had a friend teach me how to put them on. I instantly became obsessed and have been wearing them since. In 2020, I decided that I wanted to take this love I had for them a bit further and start a business selling my favorite lash styles. Surprisingly, my favorites soon became others’ favorites.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, no road is ever smooth, especially when you’re new to running a business and my road has definitely had some bumps. Some of my struggles have been deciding what lashes to sell, my branding, and even my business name. It has been a lot of late nights and early mornings trying to put everything together and make sure things were the way I wanted.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Don Lash Co.?
The Don Lash Co is a lash brand that is soon to become the ultimate lash brand. What sets my brand apart from others is the quality and the versatility of each lash style and that alone makes me very proud of my brand. My lashes definitely give every makeup look that pop that just completes the look whether it’s soft glam or full beat, it’s a style for everyone. However, we are still growing and rebranding so there will be more things to come in the near future.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In the next 5-10 years, I want my brand to be a household name and a beauty industry staple. I do want to expand further into the beauty industry and I hope in the coming years, I will be blessed enough and able to do so.
