Inspiring Conversations with Hardy Jones III of Imani Quality Concepts

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hardy Jones III.

Hi Hardy, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up in Beaumont, Texas, married the love of my life Marla Jones and have three sons. I graduated from Lamar Institute of Technology and have worked in Petrochemical Industry for 27 years and have numerous certifications and licenses (Mold Remediation Contractor MRC 1534 , All Lines Adjuster ).

Growing up, I watched my dad remodel our homestead and also do remodeling for others. By watching my dad and being by his side, the seed was actually being planted at a young age. So, by watching him do such. Of course, I embraced what I was seeing. I eventually got into other business ventures as I grew and was exposed to real estate and construction by a friend of mine (light bulb flickered again). Looking back, I would say it took a lot of perseverance, determination and drive to succeed as an entrepreneur and being around and supported by positive, like-minded people.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As an entrepreneur, I would say it’s never a smooth road to success, you will have many ups and downs, rocky, sloped roads but without that, there wouldn’t be growth. Of course, there are people you meet along the way whether in the same business or not, they will try to discourage you from wanting growth and opportunities, I tend to challenge myself every day, “How can I and how will I do better than I did the previous day”!
