Hi Farzad, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today. 
Dashing Dog Grooming is a family-owned grooming shop in West Houston. My wife and I are animal lovers, and we decided to open this shop to provide our furry friends with the best care. Our focus is quality, not quantity. We book only a certain number of clients daily to ensure they get the best grooming experience. 

We have created a pet-friendly environment so they feel loved and have a stress-free grooming session. 

We have many clients whose dogs come in with so much excitement. They almost jump out of their cars to enter our shop, which is what we are here for and makes us happy. 

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There are always challenges that we have to face. Dealing with some dogs that have been abused or mistreated breaks our hearts. But seeing those lovely and happy faces after grooming makes us feel stronger every day and help us to overcome our challenges.

We are a dog grooming business. We love what we do and are here to help as many dogs as possible. Our goal is to provide high-quality results for our clients. At Dashing Dog Grooming, we work only by appointment. We give each client a specific time frame to ensure they get the best attention. We have created a lovely environment to allow some clients to stay throughout the grooming session so their furry babies feel more comfortable and relaxed. Some dogs, especially older ones, get separation anxiety, and allowing their owners to be around helps them to overcome that fear. Our services include Full Grooming, Bath and Maintenance, or just Bath and de-matting. In addition, we have an excellent place for boarding. 

Bibi and I are both Master’s holders. She has been a sports teacher for years, and I am a Quality Engineer. Our love for animals made us get into this business in 2019. We started as a mobile business, and after we married last year, we decided to have an actual location in West Houston. Our ultimate goal is to have a shelter in the future to serve and save as many animals as possible. We are both certified groomers with over 5 years of experience.
