Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Young-Holman. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Tina Young-Holman started as a sole proprietorship in her business. She has an online novelty store and does vendor events when possible. Soon after she got married at the time in which she had one son who she adored, and wanted to make sure his future was bright with everything he needed growing up. Tina worked in the healthcare field for many years prior to marriage, which also supported her business dreams. Her primary customers were friends, family, and co-workers. Tina knew that wouldn’t sustain her business goals. She joined an incubator program where she learned what a disadvantage she had and needed to change. Tina made it her mission to not only grow her business but to pull other people up who looked like her. She started an online group that gave business tools and advice. Soon, working on a job became more necessary, so the group was then on the back burner. In 2008, Tina became more involved in business growth, so she aims to be a stay-at-home mom and work part-time work and business. But things took some different direction throughout the years. Eventually she started to have Pop-Ups and Events that her business would host. During that time, she became a Certified Score Mentor, helping entrepreneurs from all walks of life. Tina became a public speaker, and now she has done severa speaking opportunities l on Purpose & God’s Design. She is a business coach with clients whom she has help start-ups and entrepreneurs. They help her with the mission of pulling others up while she climbs. Tina is now a Best-Selling Author and #1 Best Selling Author International Best-Selling Author. She has several eBooks on Amazon, “Triumphing Over Entrepreneurial Challenges.” and Business Planner Start-Ups Kindle Edition. Hosted a GirlBoss Virtual Summit and Black Excellence Gala virtually this year. She has a magazine, Black 2 BlackMagazine, that includes Black 2 Black Talk Show to bring clients into the light with more exposure to the ideal market.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been easy as an entrepreneur takes up a lot of time and work daily. It’s not for the faint at heart. You have to keep pushing and will have some valleys and highs. I let the valleys be my testimony when I come out stronger and accomplish my goal for that day or week. Month or quarter, year. Funds are hard to come up with and denied the majority of the time, but that’s why I work alongside running my business. My last job in June of this year has been tough, but God has kept me. Never ask for something if you’re not ready is a lesson I learned. I remember saying to God, when I leave this job, I want to work for myself full-time. That has been my truth up to now. God has kept me above water and doing well. Greater is coming if I keep the faith. I don’t have that additional income, so this journey is a test for my testimony.

TNJ Hous3 Enterprise is the house for all my business adventures since 2008 but this name change established during pandemic to what it is now. Tina’s business started to evolve into many different entrepreneur journeys since 2008 even included 3 name changes. Vision change and so did goals it stable and ready to change lives. She has become a writer and editor-in-chief of a magazine. She has written in 2 anthologies and then her book. She mentors for Score. Tina is a consulting as a business coach at her own company Black 2 Black Consulting. The services she has helped her Black 2 Black clients in many areas. Gifts for corporations and Visibility and Credibility for her clients by giving them the tools and exposure to lead and not follow. B2B helps clients get exposure for their brand and navigate start-ups or small businesses to greater heights through systems and tools. She’s most proud of her client developing their fragrance line, which will launch this year. The powerful Honoree Awards for Black Excellence Gala has some powerful speakers and honorees who have established businesses globally and all over the world. Giving my clients the exposure they deserve has been a joy. Brand wise Black 2 Black Magazine has been a proud moment a year old now. Then launching the Black 2 Black Talk Show on YouTube, etc. I’ve met people from all over and allowed them to get noticed through my platform. Reaching all demographics through her talk shows is an honor. Tina is a master networker who loves connecting and connecting others in business.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Be sure of what you want in life and let nothing stop you from achieving it. So, do it fearfully but fearlessly be ready to go after it all fully committed and connected. Tina does her life journey wholeheartedly. Live in the moment, and don’t worry about what you can’t see in front of you. If it is a matter of my opinion, you change it all starting your statement with I am. It’s a game changer. Starting your day with affirmations, meditation and most importantly prayer. I find prayer is the key to getting you through life’s obstacle course. Prayer Never answers when you want all the time but always when he feels it’s necessary. Some lessons are taught through trials and tribulations and in business you can and will come out on top if you believe and put in the work to achieve your goals and dreams. My tagline is Bodacious Dreams with Radical Faith for a reason. I am audacious enough to dream big and have enough faith to believe it will and some have come true. Still dreaming with my faith, walking and planning. Faith without work is dead! One of many truest statements for me
