Hi QUENTON, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I created The Rockwell Team with my wife, Kat Rockwell, in 2014. Throughout my career, I recognized a growing need to support local businesses with their commercial real estate needs. To address this, after years of partnering with established commercial brokers, The Rockwell Commercial Group was launched in 2020, further extending our services to meet these demands comprehensively.

Professional Involvement and Leadership:

I plays an active role in the real estate community. I am a member of several influential boards and committees:

Houston Association of REALTORS’® (HAR) Governmental Affairs and Political Affairs Advisory Groups: Engaging in policy discussions and advocacy efforts.
TREPAC (Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee): Working to protect the interests of real estate professionals.
Risk Management Advisory Boards: Focusing on strategies to mitigate risks within the industry.
Additionally, I serve on the Board of Directors for HAR, CommGate and Texas REALTORS® and as a TREPAC Trustee Commercial Appointee.

I closing, my career is marked by a dedication to serving the commercial real estate needs of my community, active involvement in professional organizations, and a continuous pursuit of educational and leadership opportunities. My efforts not only advance my personal career but also contribute significantly to the broader real estate profession in Texas.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not!

As I mentioned before, my journey in real estate began in 2014, the same year my wife and I welcomed our second child. Our lives took an unexpected turn in 2015 when my wife was diagnosed with cancer. In the midst of starting a new career and raising a young family, we found ourselves in a battle for her life.

Through the mercy of others, unwavering perseverance, and our deep faith, we managed to navigate these incredibly challenging times. Despite numerous mistakes and trials, both big and small, we emerged stronger and more resilient.

Today, we are here, having overcome significant obstacles, and we remain committed to our work and our family.

Please tell us more about your business or organization. What should we know?

The Rockwell Team, founded by my wife Kat and me in 2014, initially focused on residential real estate. Recognizing a growing need to support local businesses with their commercial real estate needs, we launched The Rockwell Commercial Group in 2020. Our mission is to provide exceptional real estate services, tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients, whether they are buying, selling, or leasing commercial properties.

What do you do, what do you specialize in / what are you known for?

We specialize in commercial real estate, providing comprehensive services that include property sales, leasing, and investment consulting. Our expertise spans across various property types, including office spaces, retail locations, industrial properties, and multi-family units. We are known for our deep market knowledge, strategic approach, and commitment to delivering personalized service to each client.

Starting a business while raising a family and battling a serious illness has given us a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the importance of community and support. It has taught me to learn from mistakes, adapt to changing circumstances, and continue moving forward despite obstacles.
