Hi Olessya, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am originally from Kazakhstan. I moved to US with my family (my husband and 3 kids) in 2022.
We purchased The Tutoring Center, Katy TX in May 2023.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was challenging to move here with small kids. Also we had challenges with business in the beginning.

We offer tutoring services to kids from K to 12 grade. We help kids who struggle in school. We have different programs such reading, math and etc.

We were lucky to find a business related to kids. Because we are parents and enjoy working with kids.
Pricing:
- 2 times a week – monthly tuition is $359
- 3 times a week – monthly tuition is $409
